On the morning of April 18, 2020, Adoracion Arrieta Lu
passed away peacefully at home at the age of 68.
Adoracion is survived by her loving husband Johnny,
son Warren and daughter Louise. She is also
survived by brothers Onchie and Riz; sisters Des, Aida,
Emy and Vilma; as well as numerous
nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Adoracion was predeceased by her father Antonio
Arrieta Sr., mother Leoncia; brothers Jun, Amboy and sister Clotie.
Adoracion, who was well known to her friends and
colleagues as “Babes”, was born in the Philippines and migrated to Canada in 1993 with her family.
She was very passionate of her work at the Peter
Lougheed Centre as an Anaesthesia Aide. Her passion
extended to her cooking as she loved to feed everyone
around her. She always thought of every one else
except for herself. She had a bright personality and a great sense of humour.
Adoracion was a caring, loving and devoted wife,
mother, sister and friend.
