It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dermont White announce his passing, which occurred unexpectedly on May 1, 2018 in Morinville, Alberta at the age of 54.
Derm was born on October 14, 1963 in Stephenville, Newfoundland.
Derm will be greatly missed by his wife Mary White, his son Simon, daughters Samantha and Sabrina. The shine in his eye, his grandson Nathan. His siblings, Garry (Regina), Judy, Mona (Randy), Brendan (Terri), Beverley (Randy), Scott, Janice, Darryl (Lisa), Sonya, Sherri. His mother in law, Priscilla Collins, his extended Collins family and his many nieces & nephews.
Derm had a kind heart and was always willing to help out whenever you needed him. On any given day you could find Derm working away happily in the garage, listening to country classics. He loved his children whole-heartedly and spoke of them with pride and love. Spending time with Nathan was one of his favorite past times, whether it was going to a movie, or simply hanging out walking along the canal.
Derm was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick & Pearl White, infant son Andrew, sister Mary and his father in law Simon Collins.
Friends may call upon COUNTRY HILLS CREMATORIUM, 11995 16 St NE Calgary, Alberta, on Monday May 7, 2018 at 2pm for a Celebration of Life. Interment to follow in Newfoundland at a later date.
