Helia Del Carmen Silva of Calgary, beloved spouse of Juan Jujijahara passed away peacefully on November 10, 2022 at the age of 81 years surrounded by family.

Born on December 25, 1940 in Lota, Chile where she resided until moving to Canada in 1974. Helia was a proud matriarch of a large family that shared a special relationship with her. She was always one to be
by your side whether it was a time of need or a time of joy. She took immense pleasure in caring for her family and her loss will be felt forever. She was known for making every moment count as well as her amazing empanadas. Helia was most happy in life to just be in the same room with family. Her world revolved around family and her families world revolved around her. She managed to create a unique individual bond with each of the 58 people she was responsible for giving life to. We are grateful for having been blessed with her presence in our lives and the unconditional love we received from her. She will be deeply missed and forever adored.

She survived by her loving spouse Juan, Helia is survived by her 3 Daughters Laura (Sergio), Carmen (John) and Angelica. And her 3 Sons Claudio (Marcela), Jaime (Marcela) and Gonzalo (Jodi) Grandchildren Sergio, Sandra, Jason, Melissa, Claudio Jr., Javier, Carolina, Gabriel, Patricia, Christopher, Mauricio, Shayleen, Lindsey, Steve, Ashley, Marcel, Daniel, Dylan, Sylvanna and Courtney as well as her 32 great grandchildren. Brothers Reinaldo and Enrique as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Helia was predeceased by her parents Juan de Dios Silva Arevalo and Laura Neira Carillo, brother Alberto, sister Irene, daughter Mariana, and her much cherished grandson Christopher.
