It is with great sadness that the family of Florencia Hipona announce her passing on July 11th, 2025 at the age of 78 years.

Florencia was born in Bacnotan, La Union, Philippines on February 15, 1947. Florencia attended school at Far Eastern University in Manila. After graduating, she worked as a civil servant for the Municipality of San Juan, La Union until 2012. She married Reynaldo Hipona and together they raised three loving children in a home filled with cherished memories.

Florencia was known for being an avid gardener. She loved flowers, her favourite being yellow tulips. She also loved fashion. Her favourite thing to do was to colour coordinate her outfits and she made sure her clothing and shoes always matched the perfect bag. Her favourite song was “Moon River” and was often heard quoting it. Florencia’s favourite vacation was the time when she went to the United Kingdom. In particular, she loved London and she often spoke about the time she spent there.

Florencia is survived by her children: Florey (Douglas), Cherrey (Enrico), Harey (Babyvien) and her loving grandchildren: Ayana, John, Charles, Aleejah, Dhafnie, Kersey, Dunmoore, and Dessarhey. She was preceded in death by her husband Reynaldo, her siblings, Sor Zita and Manuel, and her parents, Celestino and Florentina.
She is also survived by her sister Wilda, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, second cousins, their families, and friends.

Florencia will be missed dearly by her family and all those who knew her. Her love, wisdom, and grace will never be forgotten.
