It is with sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Marjorie Eleanor Smithers on August 03, 2025. Marjorie was born in Calgary on March 26, 1930. She attended Western Canada High School. Marjorie was mom to her five children: Douglas, David (Annette), Sharon (Ron), Jack (Sherry), and Sheri-Lee (Mike); she was the proud grandma of five grandchildren and one great-grandson. Marjorie will be remembered for her helpfulness in her children’s school events, her love of attending church, and her sense of humor.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Marjorie’s honor on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Thornhill Baptist Church,(128 Tache Ave. NW.)
