With profound sorrow and deep respect, we announce the passing of Sardaar Gurdeep Singh Bath, a beloved father, grandfather, friend, and pillar of the community. He departed this life peacefully on September 17, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Son of a progressive socialist leader Comrade Mohan Singh Bath and Sardarni Tej Kaur, Gurdeep Singh Bath was born in a small village in Amritsar. He lived a life rooted in humility, simplicity, resilience, and social service. A tireless advocate for social equality, he dedicated himself to uplifting those around him—always guided by the principles of seva (selfless service) and compassion.

His journey was one of hard work, unwavering compassion for humanity, and quiet strength. Whether offering wise counsel to younger generations or extending a helping hand to those in need, he inspired everyone he touched with his integrity, honesty, generosity, patience, kindness and grace.

Gurdeep Singh Bath also known as BABA JI and COMRADE SAHIB by his friends and family will be remembered for his warm smile, his thoughtful guidance, and his lifelong commitment to social justice and community. His spirit lives on in the countless lives he touched and in the values he embodied every day. He is survived by family and friends in India and all across the globe.
