It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest papa, Carmelo “Milo” “Bossing” De Torres, on November 23, 2025, at the age of 68. He was born on July 16, 1957, in Tayabas, Quezon Province, Philippines.
Carmelo fought hard over the past 7 weeks and ultimately lost his battle, but he undoubtedly won everyone’s hearts with his unwavering spirit and determination to get better.
Carmelo lived a simple and happy life. He cracked jokes, gave warm smiles to everyone he encountered, and unconditionally loved his family. He was easily overjoyed with the material things he loved in life, his collection of bags, caps, jackets, shoes, perfume, and jewelry. He loved cooking for his family and playing cards with them. He was a great provider and was always present for his family.
Carmelo is survived by his loving wife Carol, his children, Christian, Charlson, Christoffer, and Mica. As well as his grandchildren, Kobe, Karl, Chloe, Jomari, Kelsie, and Kiefer. And his brothers and sisters, Ben, Nora, Ochie, Willie, Mayette, Olan, and Meanne.
Papa, you will be greatly missed by everyone.
John 11:25-26
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die.’ ”
Prayer for Eternal Rest
In your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust Carmelo De Torres. In this life, you embraced Carmelo with your tender love; deliver him now from every evil and bid him eternal rest. The old order has passed away: welcome Carmelo into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain, but the fullness of peace and joy with your Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen.
