Michael Anthony Turek
April 6 1958- December 8 2025

Michael (Mike) Anthony Turek of Airdrie, AB passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025 at the age of 67.

Mike devoted much of his life to his work, beginning as a skilled plumber and later serving with pride as a Safety Codes Officer for the City of Airdrie. Along the way, he built countless friendships that soon grew into lifelong bonds. Some of his happiest moments were spent in Mexico, and he loved hosting annual gatherings where friends and family could come together to celebrate and enjoy each other’s company.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Ellen; son Jason (Nicole); daughters Colleen, Catriona (Travis), Megan (Andrew); granddaughters Sophia, Aria, Ozzy; grandsons Bodin, Xavier; Sister Jackie; brother-in-law Stuart; sisters-in-law Isobel, Kathleen (Ian); numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Zdzislaw and Euphemia Turek; in-laws Raymond and Betty Olsen; nephew Travis.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Though he is no longer with us, his love and strength will continue to guide our family always.
