Baldev (Charlie) Singh Sangha

Baldev (Charlie) Singh Sangha

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Charlie Sangha (May 10, 1966 – March 20, 2026) — a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Navdeep (Raj) Sangha; his daughter, Anureet; his son, Ramin; his son-in-law, Joginder; and his daughter-in-law, Manvir.

Born on May 10, 1966, in Dosanjh, Moga, Punjab, India, Charlie’s journey began with humble beginnings and an unshakable work ethic. At just 16, he arrived in Abbotsford, British Columbia, with little in his pockets but everything in his spirit to build a better life. He worked tirelessly in a lumber mill, earning $2 an hour, often taking night shifts when others had gone home—not out of obligation, but because Charlie simply didn’t know how to do anything halfway. Within a short time, he purchased his first home at just 18 and proudly supported his family back home.

Through hard work and perseverance, Charlie built a life defined by dedication and leadership. He became a respected foreman at Meeker Cedar Mill and later established himself in the construction industry, ultimately building AAA Doors into far more than a business. It became a reflection of his journey, his values, and the countless years of effort he poured into it.

Yet, the same care and attention Charlie gave to his work, he gave to people. He remembered names, birthdays, anniversaries—the small details that made everyone feel important. To know Charlie was to know his laughter and his unmistakable smile, often captured in the many selfies he made sure no one missed.

Above all, Charlie’s greatest pride was his family. He was immensely proud of his son, Ramin, whose dedication and work ethic reflected his own as he became a doctor. He admired his daughter, Anureet, who carries forward his greatest gift—building and maintaining meaningful connections—as a lawyer. And beside him through it all was his wife, Raj, whose strength, energy, and zest for life perfectly matched his own. Together, they built a life filled with love, resilience, and unforgettable memories.

Charlie knew how to work hard—but more importantly, he knew how to live. He loved golf, and if there was a way to turn a work trip into a tee time, he would find it. From Thailand to Delhi, San Francisco to the unforgettable fairways of Pebble Beach—where he somehow arrived by private jet, as only Charlie could—golf was more than a hobby; it was his joy.

Charlie Sangha lived fully, gave generously, and leaves behind a legacy that will endure in business, in family, and in the hearts of all who knew him. And if there’s a course somewhere beyond this one, we’re certain he’s already found it—smiling, laughing, and reminding everyone to take one more swing.
