With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kathleen Joanne Hunter on April 4, 2026. Katie was known and loved for her honesty, integrity, and devotion to her family. She will be remembered for her shrewdness in business, on the golf course, at antique hunting, and during games night with her family.

With unwavering generosity, humanity, and resilience, she was a rock for so many people in their time of need and for her family as we navigated everyday life. In her honour we will continue to carry her wisdom with us and we will celebrate the time we had with her.

Katie is survived by her son David Hunter, grandkids Maddox and Hailey, her daughter, Melanie Yeo-Scott (Steve Scott) and granddaughters, Teigan and Kiera. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, because she didn’t want “people standing around crying”.
