Suzanne Coleman, age 61, passed away on April 13 in Calgary, Alberta, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Montreal, Suzanne lived her life with warmth, resilience, and a deep love for the people around her. She will be dearly missed by her partner, Ted Yuswak, who stood by her with devotion and love.

Suzanne was first and foremost a proud and loving mother and grandmother. She leaves behind her children: Jason, wife Jen, and their children Madison, Jayce, and Daxton; Jennifer and her children Peyton and Milo; Stephanie, husband Stephen, and their children Amelia and Benjamin; and Johnathan and his children Nicholas and Ryder. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and nothing brought her more joy than time spent with them.

Through her partnership with Ted, Suzanne was also embraced by his children and grandchildren, who became an important part of her life and heart.

She is also lovingly remembered by her sister Ruby and brother Robert, along with many extended family members and friends whose lives she touched.

Suzanne found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—swimming, soaking up the sun, her love of elephants, and being surrounded by her grandchildren. Her spirit, laughter, and fierce love for her family will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
