With heavy hearts the family of Linda J. Negrych of Airdrie, AB, announces her passing on September 21, 2026, at the age of 68, after a brave fight with cancer.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter April (Jason); brother Richard (Mila); sisters Orisia (Arnold) and Elizabeth (Raeburn); brothers Ivan (Marsha); sister Wanda (John); her beloved dog Murphy; Kathryn Cooper, who was like a second daughter; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Anna and Mike, and brothers Patrick and Adam.

She enjoyed being outdoors—camping, fishing, gardening, or relaxing on the deck in the fresh air. She also loved canning, cooking, and hosting Ukrainian Christmas dinners. Known for her kindness, laughter, and lively spirit, she always went the extra mile for the people she cared about.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and resident aides at Dulcina Hospice for their compassion and care during her final months. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dulcina Hospice in Linda’s memory.
