July 18th, 1952 – January 13th, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Andre Tessier, who passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 13 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 73.

Born in Blind River, Andre carried an adventurous spirit that guided him throughout his life. His work took him from Ontario to Alberta and later to Costa Rica, where he embraced new experiences. After retiring, he returned to western Canada and eventually made Calgary his home.

Andre is survived by his eight siblings, Annette, Paul, Alice, Marcel, Donald, Michael, Ernest and Raymond, other loved ones, and his partner Lois.

He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Germaine Tessier. Andre will be missed and fondly remembered by his family and all who knew him.
