With a grieving heart we announce the passing of Balbir Kaur Mann, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025 at the age of 86, surrounded by her loving family, rejoined once more with her husband Gurdev Singh, oldest son Paramjit Singh and many other family and friends.

Born in Mukandpur, India, Balbir was widowed at a young age and with resilience and hard work she raised her 3 sons, Paramjit Singh, Balwinder Singh and Parminder Singh.

In April 2000, She came to Calgary to be with her son Balwinder Singh and his wife Rajvir Kaur to help raise their 2 children, Kirandeep and Diljot. For the next 25 years she devoted her life to raising her grandchildren.

She leaves behind her 2 sons, Balwinder Singh (Rajvir Kaur), Parminder Singh, and five grandchildren.

We would like to express our gratitude to the doctors, nurses and medical staff who took care of her before her passing. To the families and friends who came to see her in the last few months of her life, from the bottom of our hearts we want to thank you.

She will be remembered for her endless love, her fiery spirit and her infinite wisdom. Her legacy lives on in all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was an endlessly kind soul who will be deeply missed.
