It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Basant Singh Gill, who departed peacefully on November 7, 2025, one day shy of his 83rd birthday. He was born on November 8, 1942, in Saffuwala Moga, Punjab.

Basant was a cherished Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather who was loved deeply by his family and all who knew him.

He was the beloved son of the late Najar Gill and Harnam Gill.

He is survived by his devoted children: Ajitpal Brar, Japnam Gill, Jugraj Gill, Jaspal Gill, and Sukhwinder Gill. His presence brought warmth and strength to his loved ones, and he leaves behind a profound legacy of love and family devotion that will be carried on by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
