It is with deep regret that the Minhas family would like to share that our matriarch, Gurmel Kaur Minhas has passed away.

Those who knew Gurmel, knew that she was a large, fiery personality in a small package. Every time she walked into a room, she made it known that she was taking charge and everyone followed suit. She led our family with love and gusto right until the end.

Gurmel leaves a legacy of love in her role as a grandmother, mother and wife. She was adored by her husband, Karam Singh Minhas who survives her as well as her sons, Paramjit Singh Minhas and Jesse Minhas and her daughters Satinder Parmar and Manpreet Jaswal. Her many grandchildren will always remember her enthusiasm, her scolding and her fierce dedication to her family. The love between their Papaji and Dadima will forever be remembered by all of her grandchildren.
