She is survived by her husband Barry, son Jade and daughter Kira. Lori was born on August 15, 1964 in Edmonton. She had great memories growing up on an acreage near Sherwood Park and later on in 1974 moved to the Castlegar, B.C. with her parents. Here she met her husband Barry. Together they would start a family and begin raising two children before moving to Summit Lake, B.C. in 2002. Lori worked a rewarding and fulfilling 34 year career in nursing, serving the communities of Castlegar and Nakusp. She enjoyed attending to her giant garden and always seemed to be working on a variety of home renovation projects. After retiring she moved closer to her children in Calgary where she spent her time baking, gardening, hiking, bird watching, horse back riding, cycling, going on many walks and making amazing memories. She had an incredible life, she encourages you to do the same. Don’t put off what you could do today.
