In Loving Memory of Marylyn Richardson
October 22, 1942 – December 12, 2025

It is with profound sadness that the family of Marylyn Wilda Richardson announces her
passing on December 12, 2025. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, David John Richardson, in June 2020.

Marylyn is lovingly remembered by her sons Cameron (Kathy) and Glen (Deborah); her
grandchildren David (Stephanie), Mark (Allie), Matthew, Samantha, and Katherine; her
great-grandchildren Mackenzie and Kiera; her brothers Robert (Bob) and Roy; Her Brother
in-law and sister in-law Bob and Laurie as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Born in Calgary, Marylyn spent most of her life in the city she loved. She also lived for several
years in Windermere and Parksville before returning home to Calgary to be closer to her family. Marylyn enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, and especially the time she shared with family and friends.

In her later years, Marylyn courageously faced Alzheimer’s dementia and lived her final years at Evanston Grand Village in Calgary.
The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the doctor, nurses, aides, and staff for their exceptional care, kindness, and compassion.
