Dennis Pamintuan

1976 ~ 2020

Dennis Pamintuan passed away on the morning of Friday, October 16th, 2020, with loving family at his side.

He was born on December 16th, 1976 in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines.

Dennis was predeceased by his wife, Josephine (Pangilinan) Pamintuan. He is survived by his parents, Rosa and Jaime Pamintuan, and four siblings: Gizelle, Harold, Gerald, and Rosa Ann Pamintuan (James Allan).

Dennis leaves behind his greatest legacy and his proudest achievements: his son and daughter, Deejay and Jaydee.

He came to Canada in 2013 and raised his family in Edmonton, Alberta.

Dennis enjoyed spending time with friends and family, hosting many parties and family gatherings that featured gourmet food that he cooked with his wife, Josephine. While Dennis experienced challenges with life in a new country, he strived to provide and care for his family, enabling Josephine and his children to obtain their Canadian citizenship last year.

Special thanks to the staff of Unit 66 at the South Health Campus hospital and to Dennis’ many friends and family in Canada and the Philippines, including his cousins Laura Miranda, Alma Ben-Zvi, Edmon and Albert Rotea, and Maricel and Samson Concepcion. Thanks as well to Tess Emeses, sister-in-law Grace Pangilinan, Jeanette Omaden, Lolo Ernesto Rotea, Romer and Alma Dayrit,
