It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Grant Herbert Luther Knapp. Grant was born on Nov. 14, 1940 in Turner Valley Alberta but spent most of his childhood years in Calgary. He joined the Canadian Armed Forces and spent time overseas where he met his wife, Albertina. They were married in Amsterdam on Sept. 28, 1961 and later made their home in Calgary with their four children. Grant spent much of his working career with Canada Post and retired in 1997. Most recently he made his home in Beiseker, Alberta, where he was well known by his neighbors for being a kind and gentle soul.

Grant was predeceased by his loving wife Albertina Johanna in 2010, and leaves behind to mourn his children Linda (Gary), Roy (Pauline), Randy, and Grant (Jo-Lynn). He also leaves behind his grandchildren Nigel, Aleah (Greg), and Levi as well as his much adored great-grandchild, Willow.
