Randy’s life was a testament to the power of community and giving. For over 15 years, he was an integral member of the Sunridge Little League, where he served as a coach, mentor, and umpire. Whether it was cheering on his son, daughter, and grandson or umpiring for other teams across Calgary, Randy’s dedication to the league was unwavering. He was known for his quick wit, his ability to make everyone feel welcome, and a helping hand always ready to be extended. Beyond his love for baseball, Randy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid golfer, achieving his first hole-in-one at Ledgeview Golf Course, a moment he celebrated with his son. He enjoyed playing pool with friends, and his laughter and camaraderie were constants in those gatherings. Camping with his wife and family and basking in the beauty of the outdoors were experiences he cherished deeply.
