In Loving Memory of Randhir Singh
March 19, 1963 – August 1, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Randhir Singh, beloved husband, father, and friend, who left us on August 1, 2025, at the age of 62.
Born in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, Randhir built a life defined by love, hard work, and unwavering dedication to his family. In 1993, he moved to Calgary, Alberta, where he continued to build that life with his wife, Mamta Rani Karwal, and their two children: Daughter Navjot Singh and Son Rishiv Singh, who were his pride and joy.
Randhir began his career as a skilled goldsmith, a trade that reflected his attention to detail and love for beautiful craftsmanship. He later transitioned into the trucking industry, where his relentless work ethic and determination left a lasting impression on everyone he worked with.
A proud Sikh Punjabi, Randhir lived with strength, integrity, and devotion. He was known for his passion for fixing things—from tools to vehicles to any household challenge. His love for cars, especially jeeps and classic Camaros, was unmistakable. He also had a sweet tooth that never faded, with a special fondness for Ice Cream, Rasmalai, and Chena Murki.
Randhir wore his personality as boldly as his gold jewelry—he was loving, protective, funny, and unapologetically strong-willed. He always stood by what was right and never wavered in putting his family above all else. His deep love and commitment will forever echo in the lives of those who knew him.
Randhir’s absence leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will be cherished eternally. His family loves him deeply, misses him profoundly, and will hold him close in their hearts forever.
From Mamta Karwal, Navjot Singh and Rishiv Singh (His Family).
