In loving memory of Alice Budd, born May 3, 1930 in Rocanville, Saskatchewan and ushered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on April 30,2022 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 91. Alice’s strong Christian faith was a hallmark of her life here on earth as she cared for others and encouraged those around her in many practical ways. Her hands created many gifts with a needle and thread and her sewing machine, as well as cards and long, newsy letters. She was often found in her kitchen preparing meals and welcoming many around their table. Her family was always an important and central part of Alice’s life.
Alice is predeceased by her daughter Audrey Stollings and her husband of 60 years, Gilbert.
Alice will be fondly remembered and missed by her daughters Pearl (Frank) Jeske, Dawn (Glen) Worobets and Karen (Garth) Priebe and son-in-law Bruce (Pam) Stollings, and her brother Wally (Elsie) Bowe and sister Frieda Schramm, her 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and numerous extended family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on May 21st at Westview Baptist Church, 1313 Ranchlands Way NW in Calgary, Alberta.

We are so very sorry for your loss and praying for God to comfort you So many wonderful memories of both your parents I remember walking into the fabric store in Kitimat and your mom greeting me with that wonderful smile and inviting us to First Baptist and then of course the Sunday and other day meals and loving us with outfits sewn on her serger for our first baby and being “Grandma” to our boy when he was born In the short time we lived in Kitimat we were loved and cared for. We will miss her!!
Wallie, thank you for your kind words and for sharing that wonderful story about Mom. I remember with fondness the many family meals shared with your family and many others over the years in Kitimat. There was always room for a few more people in the Budd home!
