Allan Howard Lucas
November 25, 1966 – May 21, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Allan Howard Lucas on May 21, 2025, at
the age of 58.
Born on November 25, 1966, Allan grew up in Calgary and Springbank, Alberta. From a young
age, he was a happy-go-lucky child whose bright spirit and infectious laughter brought joy to
those around him. As he grew older, Allan remained true to that spirit—kind, loving, and always
willing to help a friend in need. He truly would give you the shirt off his back.
Allan loved to have fun, often living life with spontaneity and boldness that sometimes landed
him in a bit of trouble—but that same zest for life is what so many will remember him by. In
later years, Allan faced struggles, but he never lost his generous heart or the love he had for his
family and friends.
Allan is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his mother, Karen Lucas; his siblings Grant
(Mala), Dwight (Gina), and Kathy (Rick); his nieces and nephews Megan, Melissa (Rich), Tyler
(Kaila), Kendal, Austin, and Colin; and his great-nieces and great-nephew Ophelia, Rowen, and
Lennox. He was predeceased by his father, Lyle Lucas.
The family will be holding a private memorial at a later date to celebrate Allan’s life.
