Sincere condolences to the Sendyk family.
From the Ephesians 4:1-6…Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love…describes well the Andy I have met at Extreme Engineering. Thank you Andy for your example; thank you for your help. All the Best to you and your family.
I recall first meeting Andrew in the late ’80s at his home in Ottawa. He was friendly in a genuine way, had a twinkle in his eye, a slight chuckle, and he was very curious about my life and interests. I am sure he responded that way to all of his sons’ high school friends. Years later, when I was visiting Calgary with my late husband Timothy, Andrew invited us into his home, where we enjoyed a heartwarming afternoon. He was a generous man who demonstrated warmth and kindness with ease and who showed his love and pride for his children and his beloved wife Teresa in the affectionate ways he gazed in their direction and in the tender words he used when speaking of them. In my most recent visit with him, he was equally delightful and warm. Andrew (Andrzej) was an exceptionally special man. I will forever remember him with fondness and admiration. Our thoughts and prayers are with Martin, Michael, and their families.
Dear Martin and to the Sendyk family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your father. It is never easy to lose a parent, no matter their age. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Martin and family
Our deepest sympathies to you during this time. We had never met Andy, but it sounds like he was a man of science & nature. Noble traits that he undoubtedly passed down and that the world needs desperately more of today.
Sincerely, Mark & Jan
I’m sure Andy touched many people during his very creative life. I worked with Andy at Extreme Engineering in Calgary. My office was adjacent to his. Even though Andy was by far more knowledgeable than myself, he would patiently explain his designs and thoughts. He was always willing to spend time to learn from others. We would spend many hours discussing algorithms, signal processing concepts, and implementation ideas. I’ve often thought about our discussions since then. He will be missed.
All of us at Calgary Meals on Wheels would like to share our condolences with family and friends of Andrew and we are truly sorry for your loss. Andrew was a cherished member of our volunteer team and we were blessed to have him for over ten years. His significant contributions to our organization and service within his community will be honoured and remembered always.
