It is with heavy hearts that the family of Anubha Saxena announces her passing on Jul 26, 2018. Anubha
will be sorely missed by her husband, Gudnu (Shailesh) and her children Tintin (Anubhav) and Tuktuk
(Anubhooti). She fought a courageous battle with blood cancer over the last four weeks before joining
her loving parents, Dr. Prakash and Krishna Narain, sister, Abha Verma and brother, Aditya Narain in
heaven. In addition to her family, she leaves behind her elder sister, Raka Varma and her family as well
as her nephew, Anupam Verma and his family.
Anubha’s family and friends held a very important place in her life. Her legacy will be as far reaching as
was her ability to connect with people through love, compassion and the genuine care given to
everyone she met, a glimpse of how to live your best life no matter the circumstances. Her smile and
laughter will forever be in the hearts of everyone that knew her.
Funeral Services will be held at the COUNTRY HILLS CREMATORIUM, 11995 – 16 Street NE on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at 3:00 pm.

Anubha came into my life through her role as a supervisor within the Calgary Healthy Families Collaborative many years ago. She held a very special place in my heart. She was a beautiful human being. She gave of herself generously. Her kind, gentle nature touched everyone. She loved to love and lived to give. She will be forever in my heart. Her gifts of herself to me were many. I have been forever touched and altered by Anubha’s presence and will continue to be so. I hold all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
Anubha, the sweetest, the most honest, most generous person I have ever met. Always a smile and a listening ear. I was a colleague of Anubha’s working together within the Healthy Families Collaborative. Please know that Anubha lives on in all us who knew her. My heart and prayers are with all of you.
We are in extreme shock & grief, and have no words to express our sadness. Anubha’s smiling face constantly keeps coming in front of our eyes. May her departed soul rest in peace together with her loved ones.

Some people come into our lives and leave footprints on our hearts. Anubha was like that. Whenever we met her she was always smiling. Our prayers are with Shailesh, Anubhav and Anubhooti. May god bless her soul and rest in peace.
I had a chance to meet with Anubha once. Anubha, your pleasant and bright smile lasts forever. God Bless your soul and rest in peace!
