It is with heaviest of hearts that we announce the world has lost an amazing young soul who was a loving mother, daughter, older sister, niece, cousin, and friend – Asha Tori Lynn Kaur Bharti. Asha was born in Calgary, Alberta on February 10th, 1992, and passed away suddenly on November 24th, 2021, at the age of 29 in Chestermere, Alberta.
Asha will be forever remembered by her son Zane Jayce Bharti, her mother Michele Bharti, her father Terry Bharti, and stepfather Derek Hayden; as well as her grandparents, Doreen Buchanan (Canada), Devinder Singh and Manmohan Kaur Bharti (England), and Linda and David Hayden (Canada). She is also survived by her aunts and uncles, Brenda Kusmack, Kiran and Manju Sappal (England), Vicky Bharti (England) Doug and Anna, and Lani Hayden (Canada); her cousins, Levi, Melissa, Michael, Luke and Kayla Kusmack (Canada), Devpal and Ashleen Sappal, Anisha and Neal Jethwa (England), and her dearest friend, Deseray Lavallee. Sadly, she was predeceased by her younger sister Jocelyna Dawn Kaur Bharti.
For those who had the pleasure of knowing her, knew that her presence was bold, yet kind and always fun. She had an infectious laugh, a smile so endearing and eyes so kind. She found passion in writing, reading, art, music, tattoos, animals and took pride in the simple things that made life beautiful.  She was always willing to help those who needed it, despite her own hardships. Above all else she cherished every moment and loved her son Zane dearly. We will forever remember your captivating laugh, the sparkle in your eye, and your way of making the most of things in the short time you spent with us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we can never repay you. You and your sister will forever be loved and missed.
