It is with great sadness that the family of Belen Floriano Salcedo of Calgary, Alberta, Canada announces her passing on June 21, 2025, at the age of 74 years.

Belen Salcedo was born in the Philippines on November 10, 1950. From her humble beginnings in the town of Paloyon, Nabua Camarines Sur, where she grew up with family, she attended High School in Nabua High School and graduated in 1968.

Belen moved to Manila to continue her studies and attended school at Perpetual Help School of Nursing studying Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She immigrated from Manila, Philippines to Lethbridge, Alberta in 1974 and joined her mother and siblings. She worked at Lethbridge Auxiliary Hospital then moved to Calgary and worked in Bethany Care Centre. She got married and started a family with former spouse Rodelio Rebalbos and had 3 children (2 sons and 1 daughter +).

She was a proud Seniors member of Young Once Senior’s group. She loves to dance, sing Karaoke, cook, and Knitting crochet and share this with family. She will be remembered as someone who has a trait of a Great Nurse as cheerful, always with a smile, fun, loving, very thoughtful, and forgiving and a very kind-hearted person which the family and friend will miss.

Belen is survived by her 2 sons, Anthony Paul and Mark Edward Rebalbos. She is also survived by siblings Amparo Ramos and Sid Salcedo; as well as In-laws Eileen, Clemence and Mercy Salcedo and with her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephew, families and friends.

Belen she is predeceased by her daughter Rhodielyn, father and mother Pablo and Leodegaria Salcedo, siblings Prospero, Ben, Milagros, Ruben and Jim Salcedo.
