Bev passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024 in Calgary, Alberta. She is survived by her three children Deborah (Kevin), Rob (Hannah) and Brad, grandchildren Kohl, Paige (Zach), Hailey (Stuart), sister
Mary, brother Cal (Linda), brothers in law Don and Don and several nieces and nephews. Bev was predeceased by her husband William (Bill), her parents Bob and Veva (nee Littlejohn), her sister Louise (Don), sisters in law Bev and Marlys (Don) and her grandson Brandon.
Bev was born in 1938 and raised on a farm in Saskatchewan near Old Wives. She graduated from high school Notre Dame de Sion in 1956 and as a lab technician from Providence Hospital in 1958. Bev‘s best friend Marlys introduced her to her brother Bill. Bev and Bill were married in 1959.
After their marriage, Bev and Bill moved to Saskatoon where Bev worked for a short time as a lab technician until she decided to stay home to raise her three children. Bev later worked for many years for Bill as his office assistant at Picker X-ray.
Bev and Bill lived in Saskatoon until their children were grown. After retirement, they eventually settled in Moose Jaw to be closer to family and friends.
Bev was a kind and loving person who had an infectious smile that charmed everyone she met. Bev loved to dance, particularly at the Temple Gardens in Moose Jaw or anywhere she had the opportunity. Bev also loved singing and was a member of several church choirs.
Bev was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. Thank you to the wonderful caring staff at the Mulberry Estates in Moose Jaw and the Cogir Scenic Acres in Calgary. Also, a huge thank you to the nurses, doctors and all the staff at Rockyview Hospital in Calgary, who took such great care of Mom and of us.
There will be a memorial service in Moose Jaw in the spring. Further details will follow.
