It is with great sadness that the family of Bruce Richard Smith of Calgary, AB announce his passing on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the age of 63 years.

Bruce was born in Peace River,  Alberta on December 19 th, 1959.

Bruce worked hard for his family and loved ones through out his life. He had a successful career in the car industry.

Bruce enjoyed spending most of his time with his three sons. Bruce thoroughly enjoyed watching his youngest son play hockey, taking his sons camping, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, long road-trips, teaching his kids about cars and taking his sons to Racecity every weekend before it was shut down. Bruce enjoyed his frequent visits to the flea-market so he could get his favorite bratwurst in Calgary and to grab himself some turkey-jerky.

Bruce is survived by his three sons; Leonard Smith, Lucus Hanusek and Alexander Smith. Bruce is also survived by his two brothers and two sisters; Rebecca Taylor, Barbara Smith, Brian Smith
and James (Cha) Smith.

Bruce was predeceased by his mother and father; Rose McKenzie and Richard Smith. Bruce was also predeceased by his non-blood brother and life-long friend; Leonard Deisting.
