It is with broken hearts that Pat Earl and Leah Gardin share the passing of Bernard “Butch” Charles Hawker on December 23, 2023 surrounded by friends and family.

Butch was born in Windsor, Ontario on May 6, 1944. After college Butch’s adventure began. He loved to live and work wherever the wind took him. Butch graced many places from Gold River, British Columbia and all the way to Durban, South Africa.

After all the beautiful places he traveled and worked, he ended up settling in Calgary, Alberta, becoming Mr. Donair. Butch was known for working 24/7. Butch loved to travel and go on vacation. He loved driving everywhere no matter how long it took. He loved watching the Price is Right, Nascar Racing and NFL Football. He will be missed dearly by his 22 year old African Grey Parrot, Mr.Willy.

The Cremation has already taken place and no services are planned at this time as per Butch’s wishes
