Cecil Newton Peacock

April 9th, 1927 – July 28th, 2018

Mr. Cecil Newton Peacock passed away peacefully at his residence in Calgary at the age of 91 years.

He was predeceased by his parents Newton and Minerva Peacock, brother Art and Lloyd, sister Evelyn and too early in life Blake Newton Peacock.

Cecil  leaves behind Fran Dalquist, a true love and companion for many years; his son Fred (Janet); daugther Gail and daughter Kim (Lance);  grandaughter Tammy , Janelle, Lindsay and Chandler; as well as seven great grandchildren.

He will also be lovingly remembered by Della Peacock.

Cec had a full and wonderful life and his generosity will live on through his spirit of giving. He loved the community of Alliance, Alberta and was always willing to help as much as needed.

He really enjoyed listening and singing along to his favorite songs and could he dance. Cec took all of Alberta for a ride when his brother Derek competed in the Kentucky Derby in 2006, finishing 4th in a field of 20.

Cec had so many accomplishments in his life time but one that stands out was winning the Master Farm Family Award in 1969, which was a great honor.

We will truly miss his sense of humor and great smile, so yes, we will miss him but but we will forever be thankful for having him in our lives.
