On Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at the age of 55, Coral June Devcich passed away; her Positive; Fun Loving; and Caring Attitude For Others Will Be Missed By All.
She will be lovingly remembered by Frank, her husband of 20 years and by her son Gabriel, of whom she was so proud and who brought her the most joy.
Coral is also survived by both parents and her mother-in-law Mica, her #1 brother Darwyn and his family; Shelly, his wife and their 3 adult children, her brother-in-law Dave, his wife Tanya. She was predeceased by her brother Kevin and her father-in-law Srecko.
Coral graduated High School and attended University of Lethbridge, where she obtained her degree in psychology. She worked in Lethbridge and Edmonton pursuing different jobs. It was while she was living and working in Calgary that she met the love of her life Frank. Frank and Coral married in 2002 and were blessed with their son Gabriel in 2004.
Coral excelled in many careers: counselor, home décor expert, countertop sales and owned and operated her own window covering business. But her best and most rewarding career was being a partner to Frank and a mom to Gabriel.
Coral was a people person. She always put others first and made people comfortable with her genuine smile and infectious laugh. Coral loved the heat; she loved beach holidays but she was also happy to sit in the sun for hours, with or without a cocktail. She loved to have fun, whether that was hosting Bocce tournaments; complete with costumes, dancing, also golfing, baking, shopping, and playing board games. She liked trying new activities; which also included new drinks, travelling… and of course teasing people. It was always fun to be around Coral, she was witty but in a kind way.
Coral was a fun-loving, strong, amazing, beautiful and kind person who will be missed dearly.
