Dr. Jagir Singh Sidhu (1947-2018)
January 1, 1947 (Bondli, Punjab, India) – May 31, 2018 (Lloydminster, Alberta, Canada).
Dr. Jagir Singh Sidhu, husband, father, grandfather, scientist and professor (Punjab Agricultural University), left us on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the age of 71 years. His selfless nature touched the hearts of all who surrounded him in his life. Left to dearly hold onto his memories forever are his loving wife of forty-seven years, Jagdeep Sidhu; son, Ravinderpal Sidhu and his wife, Maninder; daughter, Harpreet Aulakh and her husband, Manmeet; and four grandchildren, Reet and Harman (Aulakh), and Manat and Jasman (Sidhu).
A Celebration of Life and Cremation will be held at the Country Hills Crematorium (11995 – 16 Street NE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. Bhog and Antim Ardas are to follow at the Dashmesh Culture Centre (135 Martindale Blvd NE, Calgary, AB).
