It is with great sadness that the family of Surinder Kaur Dyal of Calgary, Alberta announce her passing on the morning of 18th of March 2023 at the age of 70 years with her family by her side.
Surinder Kaur Dyal was born in Behbalpur, Punjab, India on April 04, 1952 and got married in 1974 and then immigrated from Punjab, India in 1975.
Surinder attended school at Guru Nanak University with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Her favorite pastime was socializing, shopping, taking care of others and she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Surinder would pride herself on maintaining her home, her appearance, her health and enjoyed watching Indian TV programming and Bollywood Movies. She enjoyed watching Indian Idol, Comedy Shows, Dramas and Cooking Shows. She loved Master Chef India which gave her inspiration to try new recipes.
Surinder Kaur Dyal is survived by her husband Surinder Singh Dyal; her daughter, Kiran Ferguson married to Anthony Ferguson; her son, Rajiv Dyal married to Jessie Dyal; her 4 grandchildren, Nisha Dyal, Ketan Dyal, Roenin Dyal and Luciano Ferguson.
Surinder is also survived by her sister, Baljit Kaur Khunkhun married to Mohan Singh Khunkhun; her brother, Harinderjit Singh Thandi and his late wife Satinderjit Kaur Thandi; sister-in-law Paramjit Kaur Thandi, wife of late brother Narinderjit Singh Thandi; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, their families, and friends.
Surinder was predeceased by her mother Bimla Kaur Thandi and father Mota Singh Thandi.
