February 24, 2025 – Calgary, Alberta, Canada
It is with great sadness that the family of Francine Warren of Calgary, Alberta announce her passing on February 24, 2025 at the age of 56 years.
Francine Warren was born in Georgetown, Guyana on November 20, 1968.
Francine moved to Canada in the early 90’s to provide a better life for her children. She worked late shifts and had to navigate Toronto’s robust transit system in this new world. She eventually settled in Calgary and made a stable home for her family. She ran a dayhome and helped to support many young families and helped raise many great children.
Francine loved staying active and travelling but most of all she loved her grandchildren. Whom they lovingly referred to her as “Nana”. Francine could always be found walking around the lake, shopping at the mall, and hanging out with her grandkids. Francine found great comfort and joy in attending the Berean Church of God and the Sunflower Group. She was grateful to all of her family and friends who supported her in life’s journey. Francine was extremely kind, caring, strong and beautiful in all ways and she will greatly be missed.
Francine Warren is survived by her husband Geoff; her 3 of sons, Steve, Brandon, Tristan; 4 grandchildren, Xavier, Xander, Light, and Victory; Francine Warren is also survived her brothers and sisters; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, their families, and friends.

I will always remember Francine for her humble, quiet and beautiful spirit. Dispite her suffering she kept her faith alive and with the fight in her she fought to the last. She told me one day during one of our many prayer times she was ready to meet Jesus . Myself and family feel your sorrow and pray for God’s strength and comfort 🙏 ♥️ RIP my dear sister in law and friend. I’m happy I was part of your journey and you had a beautiful entry into heaven. I met Francine when we opened the Winners store. Her laugh was infectious. I made jokes all the time just to hear it. She had such a beautiful soul. Whenever I think of her, I will smile. You’re one of God’s heavenly angels now. Rest in peace Francine. Much love, Kristina.

My Dearest Sister,
There are no words that could truly capture the depth of my love for you, and the pain of saying goodbye. From the moment you entered my life, you brought light and warmth to every moment. Your strength, kindness, and unwavering spirit will remain in my heart forever.
Though you are no longer here with us physically, I take comfort in knowing that the love we shared will never fade. You have left an indelible mark on my soul, and I will carry you with me every day. Your fight against cancer was a testament to your courage, and I will always admire the way you faced everything with grace.
I will miss you more than words can say, but I know that wherever you are, you are at peace. Until we meet again, my beautiful sister, you will always be in my heart. Rest now, my dear, in the arms of angels.
With all my love,

Francine has reached this time and from conversations we had, she was all prepared to meet her Lord.
We will always remember her pleasant demeanor, radiant smile, and caring ways – her dedication to the many babies and toddlers whom she cared for over the years were all a reflection of God’s Love and Grace.
