It is with immense sorrow and heavy hearts that we inform the passing of Gurinder Singh Nijjar on April 15th, 2019 at the age of 51 years. 

Son of Gurmit Singh and Hardish Kaur, Gurinder Singh Nijjar was born on May 9, 1967 in Jalandhar, India. Throughout his battle with cancer he remained brave and kept his strength alive through faith. Over the past 4 years he showed us how to remain positive while overcoming the challenges in life with a persevered state of mind.

He will remain in our hearts as an effortlessly selfless and kind hearted individual. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

Funeral Services will take place at 1:00pm on Sunday April 21st at the COUNTRY HILLS CREMATORIUM, 11995 – 16 Street NE Calgary, Alberta. A religious service will follow at the Dashmesh Culture Centre, 135 Martindale Blvd NE Calgary, Alberta.
