Gurjit Kaur Kundi, age 61, passed away at her residence in Calgary, AB Canada on Monday January 24, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a happy, calm and gracious woman who lived a rich and rewarding life. 

Gurjit was born on April 16, 1960 in Cheheru, Punjab, India. She came to Calgary, Alberta Canada with her family in 2017.

Gurjit was preceded in death by her late husband, Hakam Singh Kundi and her parents Nasib Singh Marwaha and  Pritam Kaur Marwaha.

She is survived by her daughter Gurpreet Arun Plaha and her husband Arundeep Singh Plaha, son Amandeep Singh Kundi and his wife Navjot Kaur Kundi, son Gagan Singh Kundi and his wife Pardeep Kaur Kundi. She was also immensely proud and fond of her grandchildren Arunansh, Arunauvh and Kyrith.

Due to the city by-law all those attending in person must provide personal identification as well as either proof of double vaccination, or proof of a privately-paid negative rapid test result taken within 72 hours of service, or documentation of a medical exemption. Masks are also mandatory.
