It is with heavy hearts that we announce Gurmeet Kaur Malhi passed away peacefully on April 13th, 2022 following a hard-fought battle against cancer; in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by those that loved her dearly. During her final days she spent her time surrounded by the loving company of her friends and family. Gurmeet Kaur Malhi was born on November 9th, 1953, in the Kotla Mehar Singh Wala, Punjab. She then moved to Canada in December of 2005, she raised her three daughters and one son, and later on helped to raise their children. She was a strong believer in ethical living and spirituality, values which she instilled in her children and grandchildren. She will forever be remembered for her strong faith and beautiful spirit that fostered kindness and selfless generosity towards everyone she met; she was an amazing and dedicated mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family, especially by her dear husband Buta Singh Malhi, but never forgotten.”
