It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Papa-ji, Gurmukh Singh, who passed away at the age of 87 in Calgary, Alberta.

Papa-ji lived a full and meaningful life, deeply enriched by a large family and many dear friends. Born and raised in India, he grew up in a vibrant household alongside his five brothers and one sister where he helped his parents manage their family businesses. In pursuit of new beginnings, he immigrated to Canada in the 1990s.

He is lovingly remembered and survived by his devoted wife, Daljeet Kaur; sons Lakhvinder and Harry Josh; daughter-in-law Tejinder Josh; grandchildren Aashna and Jasjeet Josh; and granddaughter-in-law Puneet Saini. He also leaves behind many cherished siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended family members who held a special place in his heart.

Papa-ji was a wise and adaptable man who embraced change, enthusiastically teaching himself new languages and mastering technology to stay connected with the modern world. Known for his quick wit, amusing stories, and hearty laughter that filled the room, his presence always brought joy and comfort to those around him.

His blessings and prayers will forever remain with us, guiding and protecting our family. He will be profoundly missed and forever celebrated in our memories and hearts.
