In 1967, Harbhajan married his life partner, Davinder, and together they built a beautiful life, raising four children: Paramjit Gill (Pammi), Balvir Bassi (Bali), Sukhi Johal (Sukhi), and Gurinder Bassi (Sonu). Their home was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
As a young man, Harbhajan had a love for sports and eagerly participated in a variety of activities. He took the initiative to organize tournaments in his village, Talwan, and often served as a referee for the games. Harbhajan’s charisma was undeniable—he was always smiling, quick-witted, and effortlessly connected with people of all ages. He was a playful companion to children and a trusted friend to everyone in the community.
In 1992, the family faced an unimaginable loss when their beloved son Bali passed away at the tender age of 19. This heartache brought challenge, but their strength, unity, and unwavering love for each other carried them through the darkest of times.
In 1998, they embarked on a new journey, immigrating to Canada with their family to start a fresh chapter in a new country. With courage and determination, they worked tirelessly to rebuild their lives, creating a foundation of hope and opportunity for the next generation.
As his health began to decline due to diabetes, he faced the challenges with quiet strength and dignity. Throughout this journey, Davinder was his unwavering pillar of support. With endless love, patience, and devotion, she cared for him through every stage of his illness, ensuring he was surrounded by comfort and compassion. Her tireless dedication was a true reflection of their bond and lifelong partnership, a partnership that endured even in the face of adversity.

Our family will never be the same however he leaves behind such a beautiful family and amazing grandchildren that share his humble spirit.
