Harpreet Ghuttora, a beautiful angel taken from us far too quickly but has left us with endless memories. Never losing her smile and laughter, even while battling cancer for the last two years. From high school to graduating college and countless volunteer positions, Harpreet has countlessly beat the odds and never let her illness get the best of her. She was forever giving back to the world and spreading her joy. Throughout her fight she never let anyone around her feel her pain. Till her last day she fought only with a smile. We had the blessing of watching her grow into the most beautiful women. We are so proud of your accomplishments and the memories you have left us. You will always be our baby, Gudiya, our light in our lives. Rest in peace, but never forgotten.
Daughter of Sukhdev and Balvinder Ghuttora. Sister of Gary Ghuttora.

May God bless her.
The Father plucked a blossoming flower for His own crown! The young daughter’s sad and sudden departure is heart breaking. My sincere condolences! May God bless this angel permanent peace!
We Sikhs all come from humble beginnings. Forced out of our homes due to struggles that all immigrants face. The immigrant dream is one that takes a generation to realise. Harpreet was on the cusp of realising this dream when she was taken from us. The youth of a culture is the truest representation of its ideals. Harpeet was the most poignant vision of Canada. The daughter of immigrants, she represented the labour and dedication of a generation. She was plucked form the world before he flower could even bloom. But the fragrance of her legacy will live on. Perfection resides in the realm of the divine. I see the divine in Gary’s love for his sister. I see god in the the support that Calgarians will provide. We may be removed from our ancestral homes, but our adopted land of birth is where we will truly set our roots. Lets all collectively ensure that the flower of Harpreets youth blooms forever in the souls of every generation to follow .

We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Harpreet. Harpreet was a long time volunteer at Peter Lougheed Hospital. Patients and staff appreciated her lovely smile and bubbly personality. She was an excellent mentor to many of our younger volunteers. She will be deeply missed.
