In Loving Memory
April 24, 1973 – September 13, 2026
With deep love and endless memories, we honour the life of Inderpal “Bobby” Singh Arora, who peacefully passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 53, surrounded by his family.
Bobby was born on April 24, 1973, in Toronto, Ontario, before making Calgary, Alberta his home. He was the beloved son of Nina Nath and the late Jasbir Singh Arora, and the superhero older brother of Amit Arora.
Bobby then met the love of his life, Neeru Arora and for 29 years, they shared many laughs over many cups of chai. Together, they built the family that was, without question, the center of his world. He was the fiercely devoted father to Anjali, Aamani and Ajay. To his children, he was far more than a dad. He was their protector, biggest supporter, their source of laughter and most importantly, their best friend.
Nothing mattered more to Bobby than his family and the people he loved. He was the person you could call at 3am and know without a doubt, he would show up. Fiercely loyal, dependable, determined and unwavering, Bobby had a heart that had room for everyone.
Professionally, Bobby worked as a Systems Operator with Fortis Alberta, where his dedication to his colleagues extended beyond his day-to-day work. He was deeply passionate about union advocacy and negotiations, and a proud supporter of Man-Up Month. He was always the first to stand up for others, and he was never afraid to make his voice heard in service of others.
His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his life leaves behind a legacy that cannot be lost. He lives on through his beautiful family, the people whose lives he shaped and in every memory that brings a smile, a laugh or a familiar story beginning with “Remember when Bobby…”
He will be deeply missed by his wife Neeru; his children, Anjali, Aamani and Ajay; his mother Nina; his brother Amit; his beloved pets Mia, Milo and Millie and the many loved ones whose lives he touched.
Bobby gave his all to the people he loved, and now his love will continue to live on through each of them.
Forever loved. Forever our Bobby.

Bobby,
Words cannot express how deeply saddened we are by your passing. What began as being neighbours quickly grew into something so much more. Over the years, you became family to Andrew and me, and the memories we shared with you, Neeru, Anjali, Aamani, and Ajay will remain in our hearts forever.
We will always cherish the simple moments that meant so much, sharing meals across the fence, stopping for conversations, celebrating life’s joys, and simply being there for one another as neighbours and friends. Those moments created a bond that can never be replaced.
Bobby, your bright smile, cheerful spirit, and kind heart touched everyone who knew you. You had a special way of bringing people together and making them feel welcome. One of the things Andrew will treasure most is how you affectionately called him your Bhaia (brother), because that is exactly what you became to him, a brother in every sense except blood.
Your friendship was a gift, your kindness was genuine, and your presence brought warmth to our lives. The lane won’t feel the same without your smile, your laughter, and your friendly wave. While our hearts are broken, we are grateful for every memory, every meal shared, every conversation, and every moment of friendship.
You will be deeply missed, Bobby, but you will never be forgotten. Thank you for being such a wonderful friend, neighbour, husband, father, and brother. Your memory will live on in all of us who were fortunate enough to know and love you.
With love and heartfelt sympathy,
Andrew and Diana
