I met Jagjit’s family in 1982 through their relative, a friend of mine from my university days in India. We became friends before we knew it. It was because of his open, honest, easygoing, sincere and helpful nature.
This sudden news about his passing is shocking. It is unbearable pain and loss for his wife, his children, grand children and friends.
Let us pray to God to bless peace to his soul and bestow strength to his loved ones to overcome this tragedy .
Best Regards, Harbhajan Ghumman

“If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
We would walk right up to Heaven
And bring you back again
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why
Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No on will ever know
But know we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store
Since you’ll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you’ll always stay“
As we look back, we find ourselves wondering…
Did we remember to thank you enough for all you have done for us?
For all the times you were by our sides to help and support us…
To celebrate our successes, to understand our problems and accept our defeats?
Or for teaching us by your example the value of hard work, good judgement, courage and integrity?
We wonder if we ever thanked you for the sacrifices you made to let us have the best?
If we have forgotten to show our gratitude enough for all the things you did, we are thanking you now.
And we are hoping you knew all along, how much you meant to us.
Rest In peace Uncle. We are deeply saddened that you are no more with us. We were blessed with your unconditional love. Your memories will survive in our hearts for the rest of our lives. You will always be missed. With tearful eyes,
Harman and Raman

I had the honour of knowing and being a part of this wonderful man’s life for most of my adult life. Uncle was a pick part of mine and my families life. The positive impact and ever lasting change from Uncle’s presence in our lives will not go unmissed. Forever grateful and thankful to have met such a committed, hardworking soul who will be dearly missed by everyone who knew them. Sincere condolences from the Sidhu Family.
A soul taken too soon, I am honoured to have known Uncle for the majority of my adult life and seen his drive and passion for life. Uncle was a kind soul known to many, including my family and had a lasting positive impact on all of us and will be greatly missed. Uncle’s strong exterior was no match for the giant teddy bear this man was and the warm that was carried. There are no words for the loss felt and the heart ache experienced – Uncle will truly be missed. Condolences from the Sidhu Family.
