Jocie sadly passed away in her sleep October 29th, 2017 at the young age of only 23
For those who knew her, she was passionate about many things; music, gaming, animals, fish and helping others in need to name only a few. She loved to cook, bake, was a very talented make up artist and artistic. She reached out to so many in need, always thinking of others first, spending hours a day listening and offering advise to people suffering, often people she didn’t even know. She loved to laugh and make others laugh, Jocie taught us that it’s not the length of life but the depth of life. She was really looking forward to being an aunt to Asha’s baby; expected March 27th, 2018.
She lived the majority of her life in Strathmore Alberta Canada, but her friendships reached all corners of the globe.
She will be dearly missed by her loving mother Michele, father Terry Bharti, sister Asha, step father Derek Hayden, Grandparents Doreen Buchanan (Canada), Devinder Singh and Man Mohan Kaur Bharti (England), Linda and David Hayden (Canada). Aunts and Uncles: Brenda Kusmack, Kiran and Manju Sappal (England), Vicky Bharti (England) Doug and Anna and Lani Hayden (Canada) Cousins: Savanna, Melissa, Michael, Luke and Kayla Kusmack (Canada), Dev Pal, Anisha and Ashleen Sappal (England)
A memorial gathering will be held at Country Hills Crematorium on Sunday November 12th, 2017 at 2 pm.

Michele and Asha,
My deepest condolences in Jocie’s untimely death.
It is difficult to understand why Jocie was taken at such a young age but take solace she is in a better place now, her struggles in life are over and her spirit will live in your hearts forever.
I was so saddened by the news of Jocie’s passing. Although I barely scratched the surface in knowing her, it certainly was a pleasure to see her at the office and I always looked forward to see what she was going to write on the board.
Jocie was so creative and such a beautiful soul. She will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Remember the good times, forget the bad ones and smile every time you think of Jocie.
Rest in Peace Jocie !!
Pierre
Jocie will be missed but live on in the hearts she touched throughout her life. Gone but never forgotten. May she find peace. Prayers go out to her family and loved ones.
My deepest sympathies for your family. Losing somebody so young is never easy. But if you remember her smile…her zest for life and her beautiful inner spirit…it may help to ease your pain. Love and Blessings.
Jocie you left us way too soon.
The last few days I have found peace in remembering the good times we had in the UK, Canada and Spain and also by the stories shared by others.
I wish we could have had the chance to share many more memories with you.
You are an amazing young lady and knowing you are at peace will hopefully help heal that hole in our hearts.
Rest in Peace our beautiful little Jocie

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this very tough time. We are all deeply saddened by Jocie’s departure. Living in England, we didn’t get to spend much time with our cousin sister Jocie but she was one of us and we will really miss her. Jocie’s soul will live on.
I was saddened to hear of Jocie’s untimely passing. My oldest son was a classmate of hers and I had the privilege of teaching her in both grade 2 and grade 4. Although I lost track of her in junior high, I often thought of her. My sincerest condolences to all of Jocie’s family and friends.
Jocie your early departure will be a loss to our whole family.
Even though we hadn’t seen you for a while now, we have heard so many lovely things about you.
We pray for all those most closest to you to have the strength to continue without you.
For you we wish you peace in heaven against all the other angels.
Our love and condolences to all.
