Jozef Przeginiak, beloved husband of Adela Przeginiak (deceased) of Calgary AB, passed away on Saturday Oct 7, 2023 at the age of 93. Born in Mnikow Poland on November 1, 1929.

Jozef came to Canada in 1990 with his wife Adela. He worked for a local moving company for 25 yrs. Jozef loved taking long walks enjoying the scenery and sharing coffee with his many friends after Sunday mass which he never missed. Jozef was a proud member of the Polish Canadian Combatants Association and parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace Polish Church.

Jozef is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Jozef and Zofia Przeginiak, Zbigniew and Krystyna Przeginiak; five grandchildren, Derek (Serafina), Beata, Renata (Maamoun), Jarek (Gosia), Pawel (Ania), and great grandchildren, Ashley, Hailey, Amira, Omar, Darius, Maria, Serena, Yousef, Maya, Maja, Filip and Gabrysia.

Jozef was predeceased by his wife Adela, his mother and father, Victoria and Stanislaw and his sister Monica. Jozef will be fondly remembered by his surviving relatives and friends both here and in Poland. In life and now death Jozef wouldn’t want us to focus on the sadness and sorrow but to continue to love and support each other no matter the situation.
