Karamjit (Ken) Kalsi

Karamjit (Ken) Singh Kalsi, affectionately known as Papu, passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 69. He was born on August 14, 1954, in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India. Karamjit called Calgary, AB, Canada home for the last 48 years.
Karamjit was married to Muninder Kalsi, his beloved spouse of 39 years. Together, they shared a deep bond and created a life filled with love and cherished memories. His proudest accomplishments are his three sons, Ricki, Ritchie, and Navdeep, who meant the world to him. He also adored his daughters-in-law, Jessie, and Charlene as well as his grandson, Rohan whom he lovingly called Rohan puttu. He cherished his role as a father and grandfather and especially treasured his time spent with Rohan puttu.
Karamjit was known for his fun-loving and caring nature, always bringing joy and laughter to those around him. He had a passion for movies, particularly comedies, and always took time to appreciate nature, landscapes, and sceneries. He always marveled at the greenery, the plains, trees, and mountains. He was a devout Sikh, finding solace in his religious beliefs.
Throughout his life, Karamjit strived to help others. He actively supported various charities and community organizations, always lending a helping hand wherever he could.
During his time on Earth, Karamjit touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will forever remain in their hearts as they cherish the moments they shared with him.
