Kartar S. Sarpal
December Dec 16, 1942- Oct 30, 2021
Kartar Sarpal of Calgary AB, the son of the late Dildar and late Bimla Sarpal, peacefully passed on October 30, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Rajvinder, his son Sanjiv, daughter-in-law Inderjeet, his daughter Simi, son-in-law Collin and his three grandsons, Aaron, Ishaan and Aidan. Kartar will be greatly missed by his 5 brothers and sister-in-laws, Gurdip (Harjit), Gurcharan (Apar), Pritpal (Gurmit), Jagjit (Chanda) and Harmanjit (Iqbal). He was beloved by his sisters and brother-in-law, Balwant (Bhajan), Santosh and Darshan and his numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Lahore, British India, Kartar immigrated to Canada in July 1971 with his wife and ever since has called Calgary home. He was devoted to both his immediate and extended family – nothing was more important to him. Over the last forty years, Kartar with his brothers founded several successful businesses. He loved nature especially the Alberta Rockies. He also loved to travel and was a die-hard Calgary Flames and Stampeders fan. We are thankful and honoured that he was in our lives and we will greatly miss his presence amongst us.

It is very sad that Kartar Bhai sahib is not among us . WAHE GURU knows whom He needs among Him. His wish is our acceptance.
A feel that Kartar is not among us hurts. We have known Kartar and his family for uncountable number of years. Always a happy person and ready to help whenever we need something.
We want to attend the funeral services but because of Covid 19, we are little concerned and surely will be part of Zoom. Because of virus, lot of family relatives and friends have not seen each other.
May your soul Rest In Peace .Praying for peace for the family left behind
Kartar Uncle was a great person. He was so loving, full of life and caring. I have very good memories of him throughout my childhood and I am so sad to hear about his passing. Deepest condolences to Rajvinder Aunty, Sanjiv, Simi and the rest of the family.
