With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Kathryn on Saturday, September 11th, 2021, at the age of 56 years. Kathryn was born in Calgary Alberta on June 16. A loving Mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandma and friend. She will be sorely missed by many.
Kathryn is survived by her husband Dale; sons, Christopher and Brendan (Ashleigh); grandson Benjamin, who was a great source of happiness in her life; her father Barry; as well as her brother Michael.
Kathryn was a kind hearted, giving person. She was famous amongst her friends and family for her passion during holidays, especially the joy her handmade decorations and treats would bring during the Christmas season. Besides holiday preparations she spent countless hours handcrafting various items to donate to cat shelters in Calgary and surrounding areas.
We will be making a donation to a cat shelter in her name as it was something she discussed not long before her passing. If anyone wishes to contribute along with us, we know this final act would have left a sense of profound happiness.
Due to the sudden nature of this saddening event a memorial date and location is undecided and will be determined in the near future.

There are no words to express the sorrow and shock we feel with this sudden lose. We will hold dear the memories of Kathy gardening with her “ears” (headphones) on while listening to her favorite music, her laughter, how she loved the holidays flooding her home with such warmth, and our talks among many other things.
Our hearts go out to her family with the hopes your memories will help to heal you and guide you through the days ahead.
Kathy has left us much to soon. She will be missed.
Mellissa and I are so glad we were able to visit last October as this would have been the last time we saw her.
Rest in peace Kathy.
Our deepest condolences,
Grant, Mellissa, Nicholas, and Jaclyn
Condolences from Kimm and Glenn. While it has been years since I have seen Kathy and Dale, I remember them well and am saddened by this news. Deepest sympathies sent to the family.
