It is with great sadness that the family of Kishor Kumar Singh of Calgary, AB announce his passing on Tuesday, April 2, 2023 at the age of 60 years. He passed away surrounded by his loved ones.
Mr. Singh was born September 2, 1962, in Lautoka, Fiji to the late Makh and Rai Mati Singh. Kishor was seen as a pillar in the Fiji community whether it was at the temple, being part of the Fiji Soccer association playing for Ba, or becoming President of the Ba team. Kishor was always ready to help and get work done. From planning the many Dulari tournaments that were held, to lending a helping hand when it came to appliance repairs or house improvements, he never turned down a challenge. Loved by the community and the many friends he made along the way from his days in Fiji to his time in Canada, he lived a very humble life and will be missed.
Kishor is survived by his loving wife Parvina Singh, and three children Kritika Junck (Dean), Krishneel Singh, and Praneeta Singh. He is also survived by his three sisters Kamlesh Singh (Dhiren), Suman Singh, and Kamleen Dayal (Parveen); his two nephews, Justin Singh (Monisha), Manish Singh; and two nieces, Sonam Singh and Payal Dayal.
Funeral Services will be held at Country Hills Crematorium and Funeral Services (11995 16th Street NE, Calgary, AB, T3K 0S9) on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 12:00 PM.
